Janet lied in bed for the next few hours thinking about her past. She thought about the kids on the playground and how they teased her. She remembered this boy that stood up for her. She couldn’t remember his name or his face, (probably because of the accident) but she knew his last name. It was Micheal. He made her call him Micheal because he preferred his last name.
Janet remembered a time when her and Micheal got matching tattoos. They weren’t giant, statement tattoos, but they meant something to her. It was an infinity sign on her ankle. It didn’t hurt much, but Micheal freaked out. He had a low pain tolerance. He got his behind his ear. This made Janet miss her old body.
She looked down to wear her tattoo was on her old body and saw it. Janet still had her infinity tattoo on her ankle. Her new body had her old tattoo.
Janet started crying.
Did this mean she was still in her own body?
If she was in her old body, why did she have blond hair and blue eyes?
Did she really have a brain transportation?
Janet started screaming. She called for help.
*Rachel opened the door.
“Hi Janet. I noticed you were calling for some assistance. What may I do for you?” asked Rachel.
“WHY DO I STILL HAVE MY ANKLE TATTOO? WHAT AREN’T YOU TELLING ME RACHEL? DID I REALLY HAVE A ‘SO-SAY’ BRAIN TRANSPORTATION?” demanded Janet.
“Yes Janet. Please stop screaming. I know this may be a trying and difficult time, especially since Alex gave you a minor explanation way too soon. But yes, you did have a brain transportation. The body’s physical features have been altered however, to fit your old body’s shape. We also reprinted your ink tattoo of the old world endless loop sign in the place where it was originally. If you will notice, on your knee, we put back on you a scar, from where you fell down on as a kid. We altered your hair and eyes because you needed a distinction between old world Janet and Janet under The Wūn.” Explained Rachel.
“Okay wait. Hold on. You’re telling me this isn’t my body but it looks just like my body?” asked Janet.
“Yes Janet.” answered Rachel.
“THIS IS A LIE. I WANT TO SEE ALEX. WHERE IS HE?!” demanded Janet.
“Alex is in…” Rachel was interrupted by four knocks on the door.
“Okay Janet it looks like our time is up. Someone will come in later to check up on you to see how your body is functioning. Goodbye now.” Rachel nervously croaked.
While Rachel was exiting, Janet heard multiple footsteps leave with him. She realized, she was being monitored again.
